About RCD
RadiologyCaseDiscussion | Put your heads together. 🤔
Every Case Has a Story.
In radiology, every image raises a question. Sometimes the diagnosis is clear. Sometimes several possibilities must be considered. And sometimes, despite a thorough evaluation, a definitive diagnosis remains elusive.
We believe that the educational value of a case goes beyond simply knowing the correct diagnosis.
What truly matters is how we approach the diagnosis, which findings we evaluate, which possibilities we question, and how we revise our thinking in light of new evidence.
RadiologyCaseDiscussion (RCD) is a radiology education and case-sharing platform built around this philosophy.
We Share Not Just Diagnoses, but the Reasoning Behind Them.
When interpreting an image, a subtle anatomical detail, comparison with prior studies, laboratory findings, or clinical history may bring us closer to the correct diagnosis.
Sometimes our initial diagnosis changes.
Sometimes newly acquired knowledge allows us to revisit a case from years ago with an entirely different perspective.
And sometimes, despite our best efforts, questions remain unanswered.
We see all of these experiences as natural and valuable parts of the learning process.
Because acknowledging uncertainty is an essential part of scientific thinking.
Thinking Together, Learning Together.
RCD aims to do more than simply provide educational content.
Our goal is to create a space where radiologists, residents, physicians, and others interested in medical imaging can exchange ideas, explore different diagnostic possibilities, and learn from one another through case-based discussions.
We want this to be a place where people feel comfortable asking questions, offering different perspectives, and challenging a proposed diagnosis.
What matters is not who is right, but which interpretation is best supported by imaging findings and scientific evidence.
One person may notice a detail that another has overlooked. And the answer to one question may lead to many more.
Our Mission
We hope RCD will grow into more than a radiology case archive — a learning community where curiosity, critical thinking, scientific evidence, and professional collaboration come together.
We may not always have all the answers.
But we can always think through each case together.
